Virtueller Motorsport
  Virtueller Motorsport, das heisst Autorennen am heimischen Computer, ist mein grösstes Hobby. Allerdings möchte ich einen kleinen Unterschied zum Begriff "Computerspielen" festhalten: Man spielt hier nicht gegen den Computer, man simuliert Rennen gegen andere Leute. Am besten beim Virtual-Racing e.V. (Externer Link). Wer mehr will als 3 Runden Rennen in Need for Speed, sondern lieber über volle GP Distanzen antreten will, findet dort Gleichgesinnte.

Pic:rFactor 2    Seit 2015 fahre ich haupsächlich rFactor 2. Dynamisches Wetter und eine veränderliche Streckenoberfläche (Gummiabrieb, Trockenfahren der Linie) bringen zusätzliche Herausforderungen.
 
 
Grand Prix Legends
Pic:GPL-Eagle    Die beste und realistischste Rennsimulation aller Zeiten - das war GPL etliche Jahre lang. Inzwischen merkt man der Sim schon die Jahre an, deshalb fahre ich auch nicht mehr aktiv mit, aber es war eine tolle Zeit.
Simuliert wird die Formel 1 Saison 1967 - Wagen ohne Sponsoraufkleber und Rennstrecken ohne Schikanen. Herausfordernd und anspruchsvoll.
